You can also see The Speed E Gas Company that introduced bottled gas and The Silverton Transport Company that would go alongside our fence, to and from the mines several times a day.

Living in a home of 'corrugated iron', with  a corner shop and a few minutes walk to “town”, white sheets and everything basic ….we had it all… that was home!!
